The Andermatt golf region combines golf with enjoyment and cuisine. With four golf courses that can be reached by car in 30 to 50 minutes, six partner hotels, and the Swiss Alps golf pass, the Andermatt golf region offers Swiss golfing on the highest level.

Multifaceted golf experience

The Andermatt golf region includes the 18-hole course in Andermatt and three 9-hole courses in Realp, Sedrun, and Obergesteln. The 9-hole courses are about 30 to 50 minutes from Andermatt by car and can also be reached easily by train. Excursions to Obergesteln and Sedrun offer the opportunity to sample the regional specialities of the cantons of Valais and Grisons.

Four golf courses with very different characteristics

Variety is guaranteed when taking a holiday in the Andermatt golf region. Andermatt’s championship course has 15 flat fairways and several alpine elements. The Andermatt Realp Golf Club, located just a few kilometres away at the foot of the Furka Pass, is considered the world’s most alpine golf course. With a change in elevation of 120 metres, golfing here also becomes a mountain hike. Waiting on the Valais side of the Furka Pass is the course at the Source du Rhône Golf Club, which has an entirely different character. The course lies on a lofty flat plain directly on the banks of the Rhône river. It is also Switzerland’s longest 9-hole course. Lying on the Grisons side of the Oberalp Pass is the 9-hole course at the Golf Club Sedrun, located near the source of the Anterior Rhine. On the spectacular final hole, players hit their drives across the Rhine, which is just a small mountain stream here.
