Young Artist Concert 3
Through its Young Artist Concert Programme (YACP), Andermatt Music is dedicated to supporting young soloists and chamber musicians. The YACP’s second year will be a programme of five monthly concerts from February to June 2021. Andermatt Music is working closely with The New Generation Festival.

Artists
Charlie Lovell-Jones (Violin)
Welsh violinist Charlie Lovell-Jones has
been described as one of the UK’s
most promising young violinists.
Since his Royal Festival Hall debut
at the age of 15, Charlie’s solo
engagements have included
appearances with the BBC
National Orchestra of Wales, the
RTÉ Concert Orchestra in Dublin,
the English Chamber Orchestra,
the Westminster Philharmonic
Orchestra,
the Isle of Wight Symphony
Orchestra
and the Havant Symphony Orchestra.
He currently plays an Italian violin made by G.B.
Guadagnini from the distinguished firm J & Arthur
Beare, loaned to him by a generous benefactor.
Julian Trevelyan (Piano)
Julian Trevelyan is a British pianist and performs
regularly throughout Europe and the UK. Recent
solo recitals have included first performances of
Beethoven’s Diabelli variations at festivals in
London, Munich, Paris, Vienna and Switzerland.
Over the past four years, Julian has studied piano
with Rena Shereshevskaya at the École Normale de
Musique in Paris, now supported by a scholarship
from Patrick Masure. He also composes, sings, and
is renowned as a chamber musician on piano, violin
and viola. Julian is studying Musicology on a
scholarship at the University of Oxford where he
sings with his acappella group.
